Refund policy

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

New Zealand Returns:



If you have purchased a book or an artwork from us you have 7 days to raise any issues with the item and lodge a request to return it for a refund. 
We will assess the concerns on a case-by-case basis and will only accept returns within 7 days of the original delivery date if we deem the concern valid.
Any artwork or book must be returned in its original condition and packaging.

If you do wish to return an artwork, email us: gallery@boxoflight.com and we will arrange for a time to call to assess the concern. If we decide the issue requires a refund or replacement we will collect the work or arrange a courier free of charge.

If you do not notify us of your intent to return the work within 7 days of receipt you will not be eligible for a refund, but please contact us so we can assess your specific situation.
 
Once the artwork or product has been checked over, we will process your refund (minus shipping costs and any fees) within 7-10 business days.


International Returns:

International customers are also eligible for our 7-Day Return Policy. However, due to the cost of shipping internationally, it is the responsibility of the buyer to cover the cost of returning the work to New Zealand. Please see New Zealand Returns above for more on our return process.


If the Artwork Arrives Damaged:



If an artwork or product purchased from us arrives to you damaged you must email us: gallery@boxoflight.com within seven days of receiving your package with photographs illustrating the damage to the item and the packaging. Please include your order number (found on your receipt or order email), name and address with your email.

We will contact you within 2-3 days to outline the process for artwork or products that are damaged in transit.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

European Union 14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
